English: Joseph Green Cogswell (27 September 1786 Ipswich, Massachusetts - 26 November 1871 Cambridge, Massachusetts) was a bibliographer and an innovative educator. With George Bancroft, he founded the Round Hill School, and was the first librarian of Astor Library.
