Čeština: Josef Zvěřina (* 3. května 1913 Střítež – 18. srpna 1990 Nettuno, Itálie) byl český římskokatolický kněz, teolog, historik umění, filozof a vysokoškolský pedagog. Začátkem roku 1952 byl spolu s dalšími třiceti katolíky zatčen a odsouzen totalitním komunistických režimem na 22 let vězení, konfiskaci veškerého majetku a odnětí občanských práv. Z výkonu trestu se vrátil až v roce 1965, kdy byl podmínečně propuštěn na svobodu.
English: Josef Zvěřina (* 3 May 1913 Střítež - 18 August 1990 Nettuno, Italy) was a Czech Roman Catholic priest, theologian, art historian, philosopher and university teacher. In early 1952 he was arrested along with thirty other Catholics and sentenced by the totalitarian communist regime to 22 years in prison, confiscation of all property and deprivation of civil rights. He did not return from serving his sentence until 1965, when he was released on parole.
