English: Josef Roupec (* 26. února 1913 – 2. července 1951 Babice). Narodil se do dělnické rodiny a vyučil se zedníkem. V Babicích měl malé hospodářství. Po druhé světové válce vstoupil do sociálně demokratické strany a po sloučení této strany s Komunistickou stranou Československa v roce 1948 zůstal v KSČ a za tuto stranu byl volen do orgánů samosprávy. Spolu s dalšími členy místního národního výboru (MNV) byl v babické škole zastřelen.

English: Josef Roupec (* 26 February 1913 - 2 July 1951 Babice). He was born into a working-class family and trained as a bricklayer. He had a small farm in Babice. After the Second World War he joined the Social Democratic Party and after the merger of this party with the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in 1948 he remained in the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia and was elected to local government bodies for this party. Together with other members of the local National Committee (MNV), he was shot dead in the Babice school.
