English: The Johnstown Public Library, located at 38 South Market Street at the corner of West Clinton Street in Johnstown New York is a Carnegie library which was chartered in 1901 and opened in 1902. Andrew Carnegie initially pledged $20,000 for the project, but raised that to $25,000 after the city of Johnstown raised $6,000.(Sources: [1], [2])
