English: Sir John Murray IV (1851–1928), British publisher, fourth of seven by that name to head the publishing firm John Murray. He started to manage the John Murray publishing house as a junior partner in 1878 and continued until his death in 1928. He was a founding member of the Publishers' Association and served as its treasurer, vice-president, and president. Received a knighthood (KCVO) in 1926 for publishing the 'Letters of Queen Victoria' and charitable work.
