English: The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Joan Weil Center for Dance, located at 405 West 55th Street at 9th Avenue, in the Clinton neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, began construction in 2002 and opened in 2004 as the first permanent home of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
