The Jarvis Lord was a 178.3 foot (54.3 m) long Great Lakes freighter that served from her construction in 1872 to her sinking in 1885 when she sprang a leak and sank on Lake Michigan. Her wreck was located in 2020, resting in 220 feet (67 m) of water off Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, near South Manitou Island.
