English: The English language plaque reads: "These gates originally stood at the entrance to Jardines stables in Leighton Hill Road and were later moved to the company godown at East Point. They were donated to the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club by Jardine Matheson & Co., Ltd when the godowns were demolished in 1972." [1]
