English: The Japanese garden — of the gardens at Schönbrunn palace, in Vienna, Austria.
  • The public may view from the perimeter, but not enter, the garden's 3 sections: 1. Tea garden; 2. Stone garden; and 3. 'Karesansui'.
  • This garden was established in 1913, but was forgotten sometime after World War I. It was not re-discovered until 1996. In 1998, Japanese gardeners restored it to its original state, and provided the design's interpretations displayed along the perimeter.
