English: The James Dowdall House, also known as the Dowdall-Kurtz House, is located on the Loudoun Street Mall at 21 South Loudoun Street in Winchester, Virginia. It was built in 1792 for businessman James Gamul Dowdall and later owned by businessman George Washington Kurtz. The Federal style building is a contributing property to the Winchester Historic District.
