English: James Burk's Inn, also known as the Jimmie Burk's Inn, located at the intersection of South William and West Montgomery Streets in Johnstown, New York, was moved in 1788 to that location from 4 South William Street, where it had been built in 1765 for Robert Picken, Sir William Johnson's surveyor. The current site is where Sir William Johnson founded the village of John's Town. It was the Younglove home from 1812 to 1925, and a Daughters of the American Revolution chapter house after that. The building has sometimes been misidentified as the Black Horse Tavern. (Sources: Sign on site, [1])
