English: Stained glass manufacturers and church decorators, founded by Joshua Clarke (ca. 1868 – 1921) and residing in 33 North Frederick Street since 1887. When Joshua Clarke died, the firm continued under the management of his sons, Walter and Harry Clarke. In 1931, the church decorating business was closed and the firm renamed to Harry Clarke Stained Glass Studios Ltd. See Nicola Gordon Bowe, Harry Clarke: The Life & Work, pp. 37–45, and DIA record.
