English: Jászberény-Jászágói shortwave radio station. The construction started in 1969 when a connecting road was built. The main buildings were erected in 1970, the construction and finishing works were completed in 1972, 4 buildings have oil tanks, water supply, etc. It was commissioned in November 1974. Source.

The station started its regular shortwave broadcasts on November 4, 1974. The transmitters power is 250kW and 100kW. 7-7 single-band HRRS 4/4/1 single-antenna flat antennas operate in the north-western and south-western antenna branches to irradiate long-range targets, and 7-7 single-antenna HRRS 4/4/1 flat antennas in the eastern and south-western antenna branches. single-band HRR 2/2 / 0.25 type flat antennas operate. At the end of the north-western and south-western antenna lines, a TRO 4/1/0.25 type short-range (omnidirectional) antenna system operates on the 4 and 6 MHz broadcasting bands, respectively, which cover the Carpathian Basin and partly Central Europe. In connection with the decommissioning of the Székesfehérvár transmitter station, it was decided that the 2 100 kW BBC shortwave transmitters operating there and the one HQ 1/0.3 type dual-band (6 and 7 MHz) omnidirectional antenna system, which came into operation in 1987, and the modern Thomcast TH LPD 18 rotatable and tiltable shortwave log-per antenna system, commissioned in September 1995, will be relocated to the Jászberény transmitter station.
