English: Isla Hays Woods (1867–1950; born Mary Isla Blanche Hays, and commonly known as Mrs. Leonard G. Woods), was an American suffragist and society figure. In 1921 she became the first woman officer of the Republican National Committee. The wife of Pittsburgh businessman Leonard Gillespie Woods, she should not be confused with Mrs. Leonard Wood, wife of the U.S. army general
