Pope Innocent XI / other name: Benedetto Odescalchi / by József Damkó, sculptor and Gyula Wälder (1936 bronze statue, 2.5m + high!) On the four sides of the base (almast 2.5m high) are limestone reliefs: - 1. Princely coat of arms of Erba-Odescalchi, - 2. Cardinal Girolamo Buonvisi and Marco D'Aviano receive the Papal Bull on the Initiation of war against the Turks, - 3. Commemorative coins(based relief?) of the Holy League: Pope Innocent XI, Leopold I, King John sobieski of Poland and The Venetian dodge Marcantonio Giustinian. - 4. A hajdú from Debrecen is the first who pin the crusader flag on the wall of Buda Castle (and a hornman next to him). - Part of the Budapest World Heritage protected architectural ensembles - Hess András Square, Várnegyed neighborhood, District I of Budapest.
