Deutsch: Die Stadt Köln hat in der letzten Märzwoche 2020 ein drittes Infektionsschutzzentrum in Betrieb genommen. Getestet werden dort ausschließlich Personen, die in sogenannten kritischen Infrastrukturen tätig sind. Stadtdirektor Dr. Stephan Keller, Leiter des Krisenstabs, Dr. Christian Miller, Leiter der Berufsfeuerwehr Köln, und Prof. Dr. Gerhard Wiesmüller, Leiter der Abteilung Infektions- und Umwelthygiene des Gesundheitsamtes, stellten das neue Infektionsschutzzentrum vor. Mitarbeiter des Infektionsschutzzentrums demonstrierten an einem Feuerwehrmann, der sich als Testperson zur Verfügung stellte, wie ein Abstrich durchgeführt wird.
English: In the last week of March 2020, the city of Cologne opened a third infection protection centre. Only persons working in so-called critical infrastructures will be tested there. City Director Dr. Stephan Keller, head of the crisis management team, Dr. Christian Miller, head of the Cologne Fire Department, and Prof. Dr. Gerhard Wiesmüller, head of the Infection and Environmental Hygiene Department of the Public Health Department, presented the new infection protection centre. Employees of the Infection Protection Center demonstrated how a smear test is performed on a firefighter who made himself available as a test subject.
