Imperial Buildings is a triangular building at the junction of Whitechapel and Victoria Street, Liverpool, comprising nos. 70 & 72 Victoria Street. It was built in 1879 and designed by E. & H. Shelmerdine. The ground floor was originally occupied by the London City and Midland bank, and had a separate entrance from the other floors. Its facade is of cream terracotta. Two female statues above the front entrance to the bank represent commerce and industry.
