  • Much confusion in the registers on this ship...
    • Boston Fuel had a tugboat also named Karen Tibbetts at the same time.
    • Up through Karen Tibbetts, the Lloyd's entries on 5166366 were consistent with the name history, and the 240304 official number.
    • Lloyd's in 1989 has an entry with IMO 5166366, and this name history, but the name Mary Gateley instead of Gellatly, owned by Outer Island Marine, and the Official Number (274347) of the other tugboat. Call sign WG4487.
    • Some "Marine News" magazines has the same, a tanker with this name history sold by Boston Fuel to Outer Island Marine in 1986 and renamed "Mary Gateley", then sold back in 1991 (and renamed Karen Tibbetts again).
    • There is a photo of this ship named "Mary Gellatly", however.[1]
    • Lloyd's in the early 1990s has an entry for Fayou K., but under an IMO 8836182 and name history only going back to Atco Mary Lee.
    • It's possible the original tanker was split apart; the IMO number would follow the portion of the hull around the engine.
    • marinetraffic claims last AIS in Venice Italy 2012.02.02, with this IMO but an AIS name of "Mary Gateley" still. They have the name "Nori" and the same ex-names under both IMO numbers.
    • lr.org today has no info on the 8836182 number, but does have a little info on 5166366 with last known name "Nori".
