English: Hyakunin Isshu Uba-ga E-toki (or The Nanny's Guide to the Anthology of One Hundred Poets,

百人一首うばが絵説 ) series which Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849) started working on in 1835.

  • This category is for the incomplete series of sceneries. Although Hokusai is believed have drawn sketches for all 100 scenes, only 27 were completed as final prints, and the rest was cancelled as the publisher went out of business in 1838.
  • Four incomplete composites as well as 60 sketches remain today.
  • The following images are scanned from Hokusai: One Hundred Poets (by Peter Morse, published by George Braziller, Inc., 1989, ISBN 0-8076-1213-8).
