Joseph Heins, Jacob Lindauer of 141 Mott street in Mahattan, Martin Smith, and "Butch" Mulle broke into the home of, and robbed Martin Hubbe's of Bayview-avenue, Bayonne in 1881. They were all part of the Lindauer gang that were responsible for crime in Hudson County, New Jersey and Manhattan.
