Announced 5 October 1951 (Paris Motor Show) modified front / slightly modified in appearance
- Minx Mark V 1951–53 1265 cc 4-cylinder side-valve. minor changes
- Rubbing strake on front mudguards, stone guard on rear mudguard
- Grille has vertical end pieces
- Hillman is now embossed into a simple chrome plate at centre top of grille (previously a chromed alloy casting of a strip of individual letters)
