English: Henry Parker (1725?-1809), British book and print seller and publisher active in London. In 1759 went into partnership with Elizabeth Bakewell, Thomas Bakewell's widow, as Bakewell & Parker; published Richard Rolt's "The Lives of the principal reformers, both Englishmen and foreigners, comprehending the general history of the Reformation, from ... 1360 to 1600" (1759). In 1774 Parker purchased the office of chief clerk in the Chamberlain's Office at Guildhall; became Master of the Company of Stationers in 1801.
