Eine Parzelle liegt in der Nähe des Diezlingerbachs (Abtei Gwiggen) und die andere Parzelle im Ortsteil Hochreute am Reutelbach an der Grenze zur Gemeinde Lochau in Vorarlberg, Österreich in der Nähe von Schloss Hofen. Auf beiden Parzellen wurden Menschen im Mittelalter hingerichtet. Von den namensgebenden Eichen ist heute bei beiden Parzellen nichts mehr zu sehen.
