English: The Hay-Adams House once stood on the northwest corner of 16th and H Streets NW in Washington, D.C. Designed by Henry Hobson Richardson, the adjoining homes were built in 1885 for John Hay and Henry Adams. The buildings were demolished in 1924 and replaced with the Hay–Adams Hotel.
