English: Former consumer co-operative in Hawick in the Scottish Borders. Founded in 1839 as the Hawick Chartist Provision Store, becoming Hawick Co-operative Society in 1867. In 1968 the society merged with the Jedburgh Co-operative Society to form the Hawick and Jedburgh Co-operative Society, which later merged into the Central Borders Co-operative Society.
