Havuç dilimi (means carrot-like-slice in Turkish) is a dessert from the Cuisine of Turkey, and is quite similar to baklava. The basic differences are: Baklava can be filled with walnuts, hazelnuts, "kaymak" (a kind of special muhallebi) or pistachio nuts. Havuç dilimi are always filled with pistachio nuts. Secondly, their shape is different from baklava as stated above. Thirdly, havuç dilimi is served quite big; only one havuç dilimi is a large individual portion, while baklava(s) are cut very small and a normal commercial indivual serving is four pieces p/p.
