Hans Echnaton Schano (*1946 in Bad Aussee, Austria) is an Austrian poet, actor, director, author, and media-coach.

He was, amongst others, a member of The Living Theatre (NY) in 1960s to 1980s, in 1972 also Director of European Communications of the Universal Movement Theatre Repertory, active member of UNESCO-sponsored International Theatre Institute (ITI), and in 1983 founded and directed the One World Theatre (Amsterdam, Dallas, NYC),

Schano participated in theatre-, film-, television- and radio-productions in altogether 17 countries, performing in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. He also held lectures, workshops and seminars at a number of renowned Universities and Colleges, like Sorbonne (Paris, France), University of Sao Paulo (Brazil), UT-Austin (TX), UT-Dallas (TX), Conservatory of Vienna (Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität, Vienna, Austria). In 2012 and 2013, he also served as jury-president at Skena UP Student Theatre- and Film Festival in Prishtina (Kosovo).
