Deutsch: Der Hannoversche Bahnhof, bis 1892 offiziell: Venloer Bahnhof (teils auch Hannöverscher oder Pariser Bahnhof, nach der ursprünglich angestrebten Enddestination) in Hamburg war ein Kopfbahnhof auf dem Großen Grasbrook auf dem Gelände des heutigen Lohseparks. Noch vorhandene Reste der Gleisanlagen und Bahnsteige stehen unter Denkmalschutz. Mit Eröffnung des Hauptbahnhofes 1906 wurde der Personenverkehr eingestellt, und der Bahnhof diente bis 1999 als Güterbahnhof. Verbrecherische Ausnahme vom eingestellten Personenverkehr waren beginnend am 20. Mai 1940 und zuletzt am 14. Februar 1945 die Deportationen von Sinti, Roma (1264 Personen dokumentiert) und Juden (5848 Personen), die von diesem Bahnhof in Güterzügen in 20 Transporten in die Vernichtung verschleppt wurden.
English: Hannoverscher Bahnhof (i.e. Hanoverian station) till 1892 officially Venloer Bahnhof (Venlo station) is a former station in Hamburg, Germany. When the main station (Hauptbahnhof) opened in 1906, passenger traffic was discontinued and the station served as a freight station only until 1999. The criminal exceptions from discontinuing passenger traffic were the deportations of 5848 Jews as well as 1264 Sinti and Roma (so-called Gipsies), beginning on 20 May 1940 and last on 14 February 1945, who were dragged from this station in 20 freight train transports to be exterminated.
