- ~'Ornamental well with fishergirl statue' Supplied by artesian well (drilled, built in 1890). The former 'fishergirl/young fisherwoman?' installed in 1892. Probably a work of Francisque Joseph Duret? (1804–1865). After the 1960s the statue relocated to the Lido/Bath, later disappered?. Based on description: ...the circa two-meter-tall girl/young woman/ figure standing at the top of the well stands in a shell, holding a fish in her hand. The girl is nayad, a water nymph; a Greek mythology figure, she is the caretaker of springs, wells, rivers. In the eyes of the local people, the sight of a tangible fish prevailed, so they named her a fishergirl. Now a reconstruction by Attila Mészáros (2002 bronze statue) can be see on the Kossuth Square Park, Békéscsaba, Békés County, Hungary.

- Halászlányos díszkút Mészáros Attila 2002-es rekonstrukciója.[1] A kútat 1890-ben fúrták Az eredeti szobrot 1892-ben állították fel és alkotója Francisque Joseph Duret? (1804–1865) volt. 1960-as? évekig állt ezen a helyen. Strandra került? Majd eltünt?[2] - A kúttetején álló két méter magas lányalak/ifjú nőalak egy kagylóban áll, kezében egy halat tart. A leírások szerint a lány najád, azaz vízi nimfa; a görög mitológiából merítve a források, kutak, folyóvizek gondozója. A csabaiak szemében győzött a kézzel fogható hal látványa, így halászlánynak nevezték el. - Békés megye, Békéscsaba, Belváros, Kossuth tér parkosított északi részén
