English: The Hahn Memorial is a small courtyard given to the city of Providence by Judge Jacob Hahn and constructed in 1931-1933. The landscaping was designed by architect Norman M. Isham. It includes the Historic Providence Well site which marks the place where Roger Williams found a spring of fresh water in 1636, which became the water supply for the new settlement of Providence. The Hahn Memorial is now part of the Roger Williams National Memorial. (Source: [1])
