English: YL02 FKY was a 2002 Optare Solo M850 midibus, delivered to Stagecoach Newcastle (Busways) as a one-off ex-stock bus to operate their half of the duties on the Hadrian's Wall tourist bus route AD122 (the route being inter-worked with Stagecoach in Cumbria). Allocated fleetnumber 47025 and to Byker depot in Newcastle, it entered service in a lilac and white livery with Hadrian's Wall Bus branding, and wearing the name "Spartacus" on the front. As a seasonal route, in the off-season it was used on other routes for Cumbria or Busways. Before the start of the 2006 season, in April 2006 the contract for the Busways duty was transferred to Classic Coaches of Annfield Plain, with YL02 FKY being transferred too. In 2009 the livery was updated, becoming a graphics based vinyl wrap, augmented with a roof level route diagram. In the process the "Spartacus" name was removed, and the branding subtly changed to Hadrian's Wall Country Bus AD122. In March 2010, prior to the resumption of the Hadrian's Wall AD122 season, YL02 FKY was written off after a fatal head on crash with a coach in Chester-Le-Street. It was replaced with a 2001 Solo, reg. Y292 PDN, transferred from Network Colchester.
