Jean Picheral, a wholesale merchant, bought this mansion in 1857 and rebuilt the finely decorated facade, punctuated by large openings on the ground floor. The decoration of the main entry consists of a garland, olive branches and a cartouche. Inside, the monumental staircase shows what the mansion was like at the end of the seventeenth century when it belonged to Charles de Galepin, King's counsellor at the Presidial in Nîmes. The building is now part of the town hall.
