English: The monument commemorating Tokugawa clan military strategies is a stone stele in the Ninomaru enceinte of Nagoya Castle, central Japan.

This stone monument carries an inscription 「王命に依って催さるる事」「藩訓秘伝之跡」from a book of battle strategies (軍書合鑑 gunsho-gōkan) which was compiled by Tokugawa Yoshinao, the ninth son of Tokugawa Ieyasu and the head of the Owari clan.

The book contained various battle strategies of the Tokugawa family and it was handed down from generation to generation. The inscription on the stone is unique because it reflects a political philosophy of following the Emperor. Although the Tokugawa family ruled Japan at that time, at the beginning of the Meiji Restoration, they declared that they would follow the Emperor according to this philosophy.
