English: Gloeden shot a series of female nudes during a trip to Naples in the late 1890s (as shown by the presence of one of his models from Taormina, as an adult man). An inscription behind one image in this series reads: "Ms Guerrero, most pretty Spanish dancer, during her tournée in Italy (here, in Naples), portrayed in the garden of a small villa at Posillipo, owned by painter Di Marco. This dancer might have been Rosario Guerrero (about 1880 – died 1960s).
