Deutsch: Die 1856 angelegte Straße ist laut dem Adressbuch Hannover von 1978 benannt „nach der Lindener Familie, über deren Grundstück die Straße führte.“ Richtiger ist jedoch die Benennung nach Hanne Catharine Charlotte Haspelmath, geboren Großkopf, verheiratet mit dem Viehverschneider und Grundstücksbesitzer Heinrich Konrad Haspelmath.
