English: Greencastle was a royal castle built in the 13th century in guardianship of the de Burghs, then Earls of Ulster. The castle was wrecked in 1343 and 1375 by the Irish. Alterations were executed in the 15th and 16th century. This is a historic monument of Northern Ireland in state care.
