English: Great Moreton Hall in Moreton cum Alcumlow near Congleton, in Cheshire. The house was designed by Edward Blore in 1841 for George Holland Ackers, replacing a large timber-framed house that had been on the site since 1602. Since 1931 the house has been used first as a school and then as a hotel and conference centre.
