Description
Français : Sépulture de la famille Menier, célèbre famille d'industriels chocolatiers. La veuve de Monsieur Menier fait l'acquisition successive d'une concession à perpétuité de 12,5 m² en 1881, de 17m² en avril 1882 et de 7m² supplémentaire en novembre 1887. La chapelle de 30m² et 12 mètres de haut est terminée en 1887. Chapelle à quadruple fronton dans laquelle un buste en marbre de Menier repose dans une niche située dans le fronton. Des cariatides entourent la porte. A gauche est représenté le Commerce et à droite l'Industrie. des bas-reliefs sont sculptés sous le fronton. Ils représentent deux génies et l'écusson gravé de la lettre M. La façade antérieure comporte la'inscription F. Gilbert sculpteur en bas à gauche. La porte en bronze est signée Thiébaut frères fondeurs.
