Sandstone monument of 1897/1899 for Hamburg merchant and senator Johann Stahmer, cemetery Friedhof Ohlsdorf, map AA 12, Norderstraße near pond Nordteich, planned by German architect Wilhelm Cordes, bust (1898) by Swiss sculptor Xaver Arnold, copper angel on top of the pillar planned respectively realized by German sculptors Friedrich Küsthardt and Paul Rinckleben respectively. Basement comparable with grave monument Friedrich Wencke, Angle top of colum reminds of Berlin Victory Column (Berliner Siegessäule), built 1864-1873.

Sides and back: bad photo conditions for documentation of the virtue reliefs because of nearly impenetrable thicket and darkness (more details).
