English: Graehl is a neighborhood of Fairbanks, Alaska, located directly across the Chena River from the northeast corner of downtown Fairbanks. Originally a separate community, its integration with Fairbanks began when road connections replaced ferry service in the 1930s. It was annexed into Fairbanks after residents famously fought annexation throughout the 1960s and 1970s.
