The Gott Collection consisted of a library and artworks collected by the 19th-century Leeds wool merchant William Gott and inherited by his son John Gott bishop of Truro. After John's death in 1906 the collection was sold by Sotheby's and dispersed between 1908 and 1910. This subcategory covers the set of drawings by Giovanni Battista Piranesi at the British Museum, England. Also in this set are several more sketches by other artists. (See British Museum for further information.)
