"One of a group of four surviving mills in close proximity to each other in the south west corner of Chadderton. The tower with its pyramidal roof - a feature now missing from many other mills - is on the near corner and makes this an imposing mill when you approach. Built in 1908 to the design of P. S. Stott, it had a 1600 hp Urmson and Thompson engine. Sadly the engine house and chimney are long gone." Alan Murray-Rust geograph.co.uk
