English: Gorgon's head pediment at the Roman Baths in the city of Bath, Somerset, England. It was discovered during the digging of foundations for the Grand Pump Room in 1790. It is a triangular ornamental pediment 7.9 metres wide and 2.4 from apex to the bottom. In the centre is the so-called "Gorgon's head" although Gorgons are usually depicted as female. It might alternatively be a water god such as Oceanus.
