English: Golden Fleece was an iron fullrigged ship built in 1869 by Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow (Yard No 186) for Carmichael's "Golden Fleece Line". Her dimensions were length: 229.3 ft (69.8 m); width: 36.7 ft (11.1 m); depth: 22.3 ft (679.7 cm) and tonnage: 1257 tons. Rigged with double topsails and a main skysail. The ship stranded 1885 on Fly Island.[1]
