The Gilbert Water Tower Park is a 3/4 acre park and plaza where stands the original water tower for Gilbert, Arizona. Also on this property is the towns first adobe jail, which was later used as the pump house for the water tower, and now houses water pumping machinery for the multiple water features that are part of the current park.[1]
Also known as the Gilbert Water Tower Plaza, it features a lit brick paved plaza with seating areas, an interactive water floor spray pad directly under the water tower, water walls, a large kugel ball with a steel runnel structure above it that feeds water onto the ball, and an informal stage with a small turf amphitheater seating area.[2]
