English: Giant Sequoia National Monument is a protected mixed conifer forest in the western Sierra Nevada, surrounded by Sequoia National Forest, in east-central California. It preserves several groves and ancient specimens of Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum), among other trees.
