Germain Sommeiller (born in Saint-Jeoire-en-Faucigny, Savoy, 15 Febrary 1815 - dead in the same place, 11 July 1871) was a civil engineer from the Kingdom of Sardinia, later Italy, who built the Fréjus rail tunnel between France and Italy, also known as the Mont Cenis Tunnel.
