Built at shipyard Gebr. Niestern, Delfzijl, in 1931 as three-masted motor schooner Hela
- 1939 renamed Gerda-Luise (home port Hamburg)
- 1950: lengthened, deepened and converted to coastal motor vessel
- 1954: renamed Heros (DGLI, Karl-Heinz Schramm, Kiel, home port Hamburg)
- 1970: converted to yacht and later seized in Italy due to drug smuggling
