" This collection contains photographs from an album presented to Marine Corps Colonel George W. Ellis, who was stationed on Okinawa in 1959 and 1960. He was the commander of Camp Koza and served as the chairman of the Japanese-American Relations Committee.
The album features black-and-white images of scenes from Okinawa schools for which Marines provided assistance.
