These reliefs, showing full-rigged sailing ships, are attached to the gate piers of The Old Nineteenth, a dwelling on Croft Drive, Caldy. I think they are at least Victorian and probably relate to a previous owner being a seafarer of some note. The clubhouse of Caldy Golf Club was at this location, explaining the name.
